I’ve done some googling and from what I can gather it’s to do with needing a plug-in to view the video feed but this plugin isn’t available or supported by HIK. So I figure it’s time to get a new DVR unit but there are so many models.
First I would go into your recorder and check to make sure Hik-Connect is showing online. It is under "Configuration" and then click on "Network" then will see the tab for Hik-Connect. Make sure it is showing status as "Online". If it is then you can go to www.hik-connect.com and log in with your Hik-Connect credentials.
I've set up Hit-Connect so I have remote access via my iPad but I now cannot get "Live View" when connected to the NVR (DS-7732) locally via web browser. This is the message I get. If I disable the Hik-Vision option (which turns off the Verification Code" the Live View works. Any thoughts on
